What I do and don’t promise
I write about building an online income, mostly blogging, affiliate marketing and the tools I use to run this site. Everything here is educational. None of it is a promise, guarantee or forecast that you will earn anything.
I want to be straight with you about the odds, because most sites in this corner of the internet are not. Most people who start a blog hoping to make money never earn a meaningful income from it. Plenty earn nothing at all. The ones who do usually take a long time, and what works for them depends on their niche, their existing skills, how much time they can give it, how much they spend, and a good deal of luck. Those things differ for everyone, so my results, or anyone else’s, are not a reliable guide to yours.
What you choose to do with any of it is your decision and your responsibility.
About any numbers you see here
If I quote a figure anywhere on this site, I will say where it came from. If it’s my own result, I’ll say so and describe the circumstances. If it’s someone else’s, I’ll link the source. Where a result is unusual, I’ll say that too, rather than presenting it as what you should expect.
If you ever see a number here that you think is unsupported, tell me, and I’ll either substantiate it or remove it.

Where I stand on liability
I write this site carefully and correct mistakes when I find them, but I can’t guarantee that everything is complete, current or right for your situation.
I also link out to other sites, tools and services for information. I don’t control them, I can’t vouch for their content or accuracy, and a link from me is not a warranty that something will work or that it suits your circumstances.
Nothing on this page or anywhere on this site excludes or limits my liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that can’t lawfully be excluded. Your statutory rights are unaffected. That includes, for example, rights relating to digital content under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if you’re in the UK, and the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law if you’re in Australia. Those rights apply, regardless of what this page says.
