How To Whitelist Our Email Address

Please take the time to whitelist: pete@internethabits.com

It only takes a minute and will ensure you don’t miss out on any of my helpful emails.

Many Internet service providers (and email providers) have mail blocking or filtering systems. This is to protect you from unsolicited or unwanted email. Unfortunately, these same systems often prevent the emails you want to receive from reaching you.

Whitelisting my email addresses will ensure that the emails you requested from me get to your Inbox.

Generally, all you need to do is to add the following email to your address book: pete@internethabits.com

Here’s how to add an email to your address book.

Whitelist - Envelope with Stamp

However, it’s better to be safe than sorry. Please follow the instructions below for your required email client.

Whitelist Instructions

Below are links to helpful articles about whitelisting email addresses with Gmail, AOL, Yahoo, Hotmail, Outlook, Apple Mail and Thunderbird.

If your email provider or program isn’t listed, take a quick look at one of those that is. You’ll likely be able to work it out based on those instructions. Failing that, ask the search engine how it’s done: Replace “gmail” with your email provider or program

Please click on your email platform (the image contains the link):

Gmail

Yahoo!

AOL

iOS Mail

Thunderbird

Microsoft Outlook

Hotmail / Outlook.com

I Do Not Spam

Finally, if you find an email from pete@internethabits.com in your spam or junk folder, please take the time to hit the “not spam”, “not junk”, or similar button, as that will train your program to whitelist it.

If you are using spam filtering software, you should enter the above email address into your filtering software’s whitelist according to the specific instructions for the software you are using.

After whitelisting, it’s sometimes necessary to use a different or new email address to make sure you receive everything you need.

If you haven’t received my ‘Welcome to Internet Habits’ email, I suggest you get a free Gmail account. I use them and have had no problems. Please try to avoid using a Hotmail or Yahoo email address because they block far too many emails.

You can get a free Gmail account from http://mail.google.com/mail/signup

Thanks for the support. I appreciate you!

Pete
